Presidential candidates will visit campus July 16

NATCHITOCHES – Two candidates named in the presidential search for Northwestern State University will visit the Natchitoches campus on Tuesday, July 16 for on-campus interviews, tours and meetings with campus and community leaders, alumni, faculty, staff, students and stakeholders.

The candidates are Dr. Jose Cantu and Justice James Genovese.  A profile and application packet for each can be reviewed at https://www.ulsystem.edu/nsu-search-semifinalists/.

Finalists will be interviewed during a University of Louisiana System meeting in Baton Rouge on Thursday, July 18 when the selection will be announced.  The meeting will be streamed on the University of Louisiana System Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@ULSystem.
